Sunshine & NaDiva (S&N) are artistes, dancers, and musicians. They have been involved in the ABC Calypso Tent since 2015 and are the reigning UK Road March Queens and the ABC British Groovy Soca Monarchs, with their hit song ‘Unstoppable’. Labelled The Soca Sisters, they are known for their tropical London flare, magnificent choreography, and powerful voices.

Formally known as Muzik Lil Muzik (MLM), emerging  on the  UK scene with the 2010 Soca hit ‘For Di Road’, S&N made a lasting mark. Soon after debuting, in 2012 S&N were nominated for an International Soca Award for ‘Best Soca Duo’ for the groovy hit ‘Make a Way’, and again in 2013 for their single ‘Chance’. These nominations drew much positive attention  to the sisters and their musical potential. In 2011 S&N made history, becoming the first artistes to win both the UK Groovy and Power Soca Monarch competitions with hits “2Flag” and “Make A Way”, which was featured on DTee’s Soca show on BBC 1Xtra. In 2012 S&N were awarded the Calabash Award for best Soca Group and the Soca Music Award for best UK Soca artiste.

After much appreciation, S&N successfully pulled off the 2013 “Colonise Tour” with radio interviews including Martin Jay’s Caribbean Affair show on Choice FM, and graced international stages in Berlin, Sweden, New York, Wales and national cities including London and Leicester. Their key influences include, RnB, Garage, Calypso, and Soca. A ‘Caribbean cocktail’ is one way to describe the sisters’ heritage, stemming from St Vincent, St Lucia and Barbados with roots spreading around the Caribbean, including Trinidad and Tobago. The reigning Groovy Soca Monarch duo state: “We would like to congratulate The ABC Calypso Tent for the continued contribution to Caribbean music and culture, for bringing the community together, and for making the tent more accessible to the younger generation with the inclusion of the British Groovy Soca Monarch competition. We wish the ABC Calypso Tent many more years.”
